Dr Lewis Wilton has one of the most caring and considerate manners I have ever experienced at a dentist. He explained everything and made sure my elderly father felt comfortable and relaxed (as well as he could be in a dentist’s chair). I would definitely recommend him and his assistant Elizabeth if anyone is nervous about going to the dentist.

I have been with this practice all my life but Billy is by far the best dentist I have ever had. He explains everything he is doing, puts you at ease and is happy to answer any questions at all. Billy has recently done some composite bonding on my two front teeth after the old cap had worn down and chipped . I am so happy with the result, it has changed my smile completely and I am so grateful. I also see Kat, the hygienist who also provides the same high standard of service. I always feel very welcome and would recommend to anyone!

As a nervous patient, due to previous dentists, I can honestly say that this practice has always provided an excellent service in all ways. From fitting me in quickly for an emergency repair to treatment, the whole team shows compassion, caring and polite interaction.Billy Chan is gentle, kind and reassuring. He explains everything. I rarely feel the needle going in ( I did with previous dentists.) and have never felt any pain during treatment. ( I did with previous dentists.) This is an outstanding practice and I feel fortunate to have Billy as my dentist. I highly recommend the Gloucester Street Dental Practice. They get the important things right.

I have used this dental surgery my entire life and have always been so satisfied! Today I was desperate for an appointment and the receptionist was so helpful, kindly rang me back when they had a cancellation and was so welcoming. Dr Chan is so warm, kind and helpful. I have been attending this dentist all of my life and the service is impeccable. All of the staff are professional and helpful. If you were in need of a dentist, I would genuinely recommend GSDP.Billy is absolutely fantastic. I have to see the dentist more than your average 2x a year, due to having a bridge and not once have I had a bad experience.The whole process being with the team is that relaxing, I have actually nodded off before! (Sorry about that Billy!)

I have travelled and moved many times throughout my life, as a consequence I have visited many Dental practices. I have always had a bit of a phobia. I have however been a patient of Billy for at least two years and I can say with absolute certainty he is the best Dentist I have ever seen, and by a huge margin. For the the first time in my 46 years I no longer fear going to.the dentist - in fact I quite look forward to it. Not only is Billy the best Dentist in every respect, he is also a really nice guy. Cirencester is very lucky to have him!

Skin tags are harmless, soft, skin-coloured growths on the skin. They do not usually cause pain or discomfort. You may want to have them removed if they are noticeable and affecting your confidence, or if they are catching on clothing or jewellery.

Using Nano Plasma treatment, our Practitioners can safely remove skin tags from any area of the skin. Your skin will be smoothed immediately, and the production of collagen is stimulated to rejuvenate the area with no scarring, bleeding, or hyperpigmentation. There is no need for any stitches.

Please be mindful that this is a cosmetic procedure. If you are concerned about any change to a skin tag such as bleeding, redness, ulceration, itchiness, and change in size, please visit your GP. We are only able to remove skin tags with a normal appearance, or which have been confirmed to be non-cancerous by your doctor or dermatologist.

How do I prepare for Skin Tag removal?

A consultation appointment will be arranged with one of our Practitioners to discuss your personal needs. Multiple skin tags can be removed in one visit, so we would plan with you the areas that you want to have treated, and prescribe a programme of treatment to achieve the desired results with minimum disruption.

We will take photos as a reference point before treatment starts. We will provide a treatment programme for you that will include all the treatment information you need, as well as the likely costs for you to consider. The consultation appointment is free of charge and allows you the opportunity to discuss any questions you may have, and if you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us – our friendly team will be happy to answer your questions and schedule your visits.

When can I expect to see results?

Removal of the skin tag will instantly leave your skin surface flatter. The tissue of the skin tag is completely vaporised away by the Nano Plasma equipment. You will be left with small brown marks where the skin tag was attached, the size of this depends on the size of the base of the skin tag. These marks are crusts of carbonised cells that will flake away over the next few days, leaving a smooth, flat skin surface. During this healing time it is particularly important to follow the post-treatment care instructions that our Practitioners advise for you.

Aftercare

Most patients can carry on with their normal daily routines following Nano Plasma skin tag removal. Where the skin tag was removed you must avoid picking at the carbon crust, if you have several tags removed from one area you may experience minor discomfort or swelling for up to 7 days. The carbon crusts will fall off after approximately 5 days to reveal new healing skin underneath. You will be advised on the most appropriate skincare routine to allow the best healing result.

As with all Nano Plasma aesthetic treatments at Cirencester Dental and Aesthetics, we will arrange a review appointment in the month following treatment to monitor healing. Once removed, skin tags will not regrow, however, in areas where the skin rubs together such as skin folds, new skin tags can develop, and these too can be safely removed if needed.
